11/17/2009 - The Appeal Panel decided that the 25 point deduction against Aston Rowant should be withdrawn and replaced by a 40 point suspended deduction and also made adjustments to several other decisions.

10/17/2009 - Timothy Miles of Aston Rowant CC and Dean Nurse of Basingstoke & North Hants CC were both found guilty of a Level 4 breach of discipline involving an assault of another player. The Panel deducts 25 points from the total points attained by each club in the 2009 season.

9/5/2009 - Aston Rowant will appeal against the 25-point deduction that has denied them the Division 2 West title. Rowant finished 11 points behind Reading after thrashing Burnham by nine wickets in their final match.

9/5/2009 - With Aston Rowant forfeiting the points from their match with Basingstoke and Gerrards Cross failing against neighbours Beaconsfield, Reading hold their nerve to win against Falkland and thereby take top spot in 2W pending an appeal from Aston Rowant.

9/5/2009 - Gerrards Cross’ challenge for the HCPCL Division 2 West title crashed and burned in the home straight following a 78 run defeat to local rivals Beaconsfield.

8/29/2009 - Hertford, already relegated, crashed to the bowling of Hodgins who took 6-14. An encouraging 2nd wicket stand of 82 was followed by the loss of the remaining 8 wickets for just 39 runs.
