Reigning HCPCL T20 Champions High Wycombe eased to a 9 wicket win over Reading at Sonning Lane whilst Finchampstead had it even easier with Amersham conceding the game. Henley squeezed past Aston Rowant’s 162 with three balls to spare, whilst Banbury’s 180 proved too much of challenge for Oxford.

Horspath set Thame Town 177 to win and bowled their visitors out for 131 whilst Buckingham Town came up 13 short at Great & Little Tew. Harefield maintained Division 2 interest in the competition overcoming Tring Park and will be at home against Slough after their 10 wicket win in 9.1 overs against Burnham who were bowled out for 83 in 19.4 overs.

Congratulations to Sheridon Gumb of Tring Park on making his HCPCL debut just shy of his 13th birthday.

The second round of matches take place on the 29th May, all matches scheduled for 2pm.
